How to Access eApp

If you were initiated into the eApp system to complete your background investigation, you would have received login instructions from ORSeApp@mail.nih.gov, as well as two emails from ‘donotreply@nbis.mil’ to register for eAPP. Follow the instructions within those emails to access your account. This photo below shows an example of an email the individual will receive in order to access eApp:

 

Note: Although DPSAC is transitioning to using eApp, if you were initiated into the old legacy eQIP system to complete your background investigation prior to the transition, you would have received login instructions from ORSeQIP@mail.nih.gov. Please continue to follow the eQIP instructions, as you will still be able to complete your eQIP questionnaire. 

Deadline for Completion

You have seven (7) business days to complete your online eApp and the additional forms that were sent to you. 

Penalties for Non-Compliance

Failure to complete these requirements will result in your ineligibility for access to NIH facilities. You will not be allowed to begin or continue your work without completing these requirements. Those who already have an HHS PIV badge will have their badge revoked if they fail to complete these requirements.​
