Resources

Between work, family, and personal life, we juggle multiple responsibilities every day. Finding a healthy balance among them is essential to our own personal well-being. Well-Being is being defined by Gallup, into five essential categories: Social, Community, Career, Physical and Financial. By addressing each of the areas and having resources to assist you when you hit a bump in the road, will keep you well-rounded like a bicycle tire that will carry your well-being life bike far in life.

The Office of Resource Services (ORS), Office of Human Resources and Resilience Through Well-Being campaign have made available resources appropriate for “maintaining your well-being life bike."

There is something for EVERYONE, including federal employees, trainees, fellows and contractors.

Resources are available in many formats: live webinars, free fitness classes, websites, PDFs, and archived webinars and vignettes for viewing when you have time.

Be sure to check the webpage frequently and bookmark it as information will be added and updated throughout the month. Please share this webpage with colleagues, co-workers, and contractors. The website can be accessed by any computer or iPhone/android.

Events and resources are divided in to themes that target a specific category of well-being:  Physical, Career, Social, Community and Financial. Each weekly theme is located in the far left box under Theme.

Week 1 Theme:  Resilience Through Well-Being

Week 2 Theme:  Social/Caring for Others and Community

Week 3 Theme:  Career

Week 4 Theme:  Physical/Mental Well-Being and Financial

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn how
NIH cares for and supports its workforce!
