Mission Statement

The Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS), Program and Employee Services (PES), Office of Research Services (ORS), supports the mission of NIH by providing a variety of worksite enrichment programs and transportation services that benefit NIH employees, guests, visitors, patients, and their families. DATS is comprised of two branches – the Amenities Programs Branch and Transportation Services Branch. Through the administration of use agreements and performance-based contracts, DATS is committed to delivering the best programs and services to meet the diverse and evolving needs of the NIH community.

About the Director

Tammie Edwards

Ms. Tammie Edwards joined the Office of Research Services (ORS) with the Division of Medical Arts (MAB) as the Creative Director in 2005 and became the Chief of the MAB in 2008. She became the Director of the Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS) in May 2021. As the DATS Director, Ms. Edwards oversees several work site enrichment programs and transportation services.
