Transit Subsidy Maximum has been increased!
Effective January 1, 2024, the NIH Transhare Program maximum benefit level has been increased from $300 to $315! Commuting costs will be verified by the WMATA Trip Planner and past use of NIH subsidies.

The Division of Amenities and Transportation Services supports many commuter programs for NIH employees to reduce their dependence on single-occupant automobile commuting. This website provides helpful information about the NIH Transhare Program and assists NIH employees with receiving a mass transit benefit for their daily commute.
