Patient Hotel Shuttles

Hotel Shuttles

To arrange pick-up and drop-off service from the NIH Clinical Center to nearby Hotels, contact the NIH Patient Transportation Desk at 301-496-1161 or visit the office located on the first floor, North lobby entrance of the Clinical Center, Building 10.

*Hotel Patient Shuttles are for the exclusive use of patients and patient family members ONLY*

*Special Accommodations (Wheelchair accessibility) - Paratransit service is available; contact the Patient Transportation Desk to make special arrangements.

*Please note, the Patient Hotel Shuttles DO NOT operate on Saturdays. 

The NIH shuttle operates on the following holidays

  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • President's Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Juneteenth

The NIH Shuttle DOES NOT operate on the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Year's Day

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center  

To arrange pick-up and drop-off service from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to the NIH Clinical Center, contact the NIH Patient Transportation Desk at (301) 496-1161.
