Join thousands of area commuters for a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work, while helping the Washington region become a better place to ride.

Bike to Work Day is an event open to all area commuters.

The NIH will again be hosting one pit stop at the main campus and are partnering with two other pit stops in Montgomery County:  Marriott HQ in Rockledge and Rockville Falls Grove (near NCI's Shady Grove campus).

NIH Pit Stop Information

Each pit stop will feature food, fun, and prizes. Advance registration is required to guarantee your free T-shirt and also helps the NIH secure its reigning title as the DC area's top employer for bicycle commuters!

If you choose to attend a pit stop other than the NIH, be sure to list the "National Institutes of Health" as your employer.

Bethesda Main Campus:

Join bicycle commuters at the Main Campus Bldg. 1 for great festivities and special guest speakers.

Rockledge Drive

We enjoyed partnering with Marriott HQ for last year's event at the Rockledge location and look forward to having another successful turn out.

Pit stop name: "MD - Rock Springs Business Park".

Rockville – Falls Grove 

We are excited in partnering with Falls Grove at Village Center (Smoothie King Parking Lot).   This pit stop is the closes to the NCI Shady Grove Campus.
