U.S. Surgeon General Promotes Walking and Walkable Communities.
The “Take the Stairs” campaign is the NIH response to the U.S. Surgeon General’s “Call to Action to Promote Walking and Walkable Communities,” with worksites as a key sector for implementation. In support of the project, U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams came to visit NIH.
In support of the "Take the Stairs" campaign at NIH. Fogarty International Center Director Dr. Roger Glass and Deputy Director Dr.Peter Kilmarx posted signs encouraging NIH employees.
