The Division of Amenities and Transportation Services (DATS), is the centralized provider of interpreting services to the NIH. In order to best meet your interpreting services requirements, we recommend that all requests be submitted at least five (5) business days prior to the start of your event.
Creates an Interpreting Services Request for a single event or ongoing (reoccurring) requirement. Each request generates a confirmation receipt providing the user with a unique Requestor Tracking Number (always begins with TERP-). First time requestors will be directed to establish an account prior to submitting a request.
Enter your unique Requestor Tracking Number and the status of your request will be displayed. The status will indicate either "Confirmed" (scheduled with Access Interpreting) or "Unconfirmed" (pending SLA verification). It will also let you know the interpreter that has been assigned to your request.
Allows you to change a particular request by entering your unique Tracking Number and a text message indicating the changes required. A DATS staff member will contact the vendor prior to updating the database. Changes cause the request status to revert to "Change Pending" until verification with Access Interpreting.
Allows you to cancel an Interpreting Services Request. Please go to this site at least 48 hours prior to an event. Enter the Requestor Tracking Number and the reason for cancellation. If less than 48 hours, please contact the DATS office. (The NIH is charged for any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice.)
Shows you a current listing of all Interpreting Services Requests for the next 60 days that have been submitted to support any NIH and Public Functions. Event contact names and numbers may be viewed by selecting the appropriate TERP Request Number (hyperlinked).
