NIH Events Management provides comprehensive conference/meeting support services for NIH conference facilities on the Bethesda campus and surrounding locale.
The use of the NIH centrally managed conference facilities is pre-paid by the NIH OD and IC through an annual assessment based on three-year historical use. Non-NIH Federal Government users will be charged the published room rates via an Inter Agency Agreement.

Hours of Operation
All conference facilities are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM except for the Natcher Conference Center, which is open until 6:00 PM.
Schedule a Meeting or Conference
To make reservations for NIH on and off-campus conference space, you may call the NIH Events Reservation Line at 301-435-2208 or submit an On-line Meeting / Event Request.
The telephonic centralized reservation service is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Please have the following information available when you call:
- The preferred conference room & location
- The dates and times that the facility will be used
- The services (audio-visual, tele-conferencing, etc.) required for the event
If the requested date/time and room are available, the conference coordinator will immediately reserve the conference room(s) and provide a confirmation number for your reservation. A written confirmation will be faxed or e-mailed to you within three business days. If unable to accommodate your initial request, the conference coordinator will assist you to find an alternate room or meeting date.
