Scientists who need to pick up documents from DIS may book an appointment. You will receive an email confirmation from
DIS@mail.nih.gov once DIS accepts your appointment.

Main Bethesda campus
You must schedule an appointment via the
DIS Calendar between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Remote NIH sites
A bi-weekly or weekly mailing will be sent to DIS Key Contacts at remote NIH sites. Please allow at least two weeks of processing time from when you receive your eNOA from DIS to coordinate document pickup with the individual associated with your worksite below.

J-1/J-2 Travel Signature Request
NIH-sponsored J-1 and J-2 Exchange Visitors should email
DIS@mail.nih.gov to request a travel signature. An Immigration Specialist will process the request and send you an electronic copy of your DS-2019 via encrypted email to your NIH account with an updated travel signature. Please allow up to five business days for your request to be processed.
