Office of Research Services

Serving the NIH Community

Business Office

DVR operates on a fee for service system with established rates targeted towards recovering all costs of operation.  Costs are either recovered via a membership fee, which is assessed to each IC annually or on a fee for service basis based on a pre-determined fee structure.  The DVR Budget Management Office is responsible for budget preparation and execution, developing rates for services, preparing work orders and interagency agreements, monthly billing of services, and information technology.

For any billing related questions or inquiries, please email the DVR Billing Office.

DVR Information Technology

DVR Information Technology professionals offer assistance to the NIH intramural veterinary community, including consultation on integration of commercial off-the-shelf veterinary software, custom veterinary applications, databases and web hosting services.  The DVR IT Staff ensures continuous operation of DVR databases and the Intranet.

Laboratory Animal Research Contract (LARC)

DVR manages an NIH laboratory animal research contract (LARC), a multiple award contract providing animal care and technical research support services to the NIH intramural research community. This contract vehicle supports most NIH Institutes through numerous Task Orders for specific requirements. The LARC provides direct access to experienced providers of laboratory animal research support services.

For any LARC or contract questions or inquiries, please email the LARC Project Officer.
