The Radiation Safety for Contractor and Maintenance Service Personnel training module is intended for contractor and maintenance service personnel who may encounter radioactive materials and radiation-emitting devices during the course of their work at the NIH.
This training course reviews radiation terms and definitions, internal and external radiation hazards and controls, signs and labels, NIH Security Policy for Radioactive Materials, emergency situations such as accidents and spills, radiation dose limits, and safety culture at the NIH.
