F. Children of Employees and Contractors​

1. Children under the age of 16 years:
   
1. Accompanied by a parent or guardian who is an NIH employee or contractor 
2. Fill out Accompanied Child Visitor Pass (ACVP)​

G. Children Going to Day Care

If the child or children are being taken to a day care facility on the NIH campus, the officer shall permit the child or children to enter without the issuance of a pass, provided that a Child Care Placard is displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard. 

1. The parking permit is not a NIH general parking permit. It permits parking at the Child Care Centers only for the hours specified. 
2. If the parent and child entered through a pedestrian entrance, the parent must present to the officer a smaller, wallet-sized version of the placard.
