Radiation Safety for Clinical Center Nurses

​​The NIH Clinical Center uses radiation and radioactive materials to diagnose, research, and treat diseases and nurses working in the Clinical Center  may come into contact with radioactive materials and radiation sources.

The Radiation Safety for Clinical Center Nurses​ training module provides guidelines on how to remain safe from the harmful effects of radiation exposure​ and the procedures required by the NIH and the NIH Radiation Safety Program. ​​
