RDRC Membership

The NIH Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) consists of five individuals, which are selected​ by the Committee Chairman. Anyone interested in serving on the RSC may contact RSCExecSec@nih.gov.

​Structure​​​​

The Chair of the NIH Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) selects the Chairman and the members of the RDRC, which consists of five individuals. Three of the members are specific: 

  • nuclear medicine physician
  • individual qualified by training and experience to formulate radioactive drugs
  • person with special competence in radiation safety and radiation dosimetry

The remaining members should be qualified in various disciplines pertinent to the field of nuclear medicine. ​
