Metabolic reprogramming of anti-tumor immunity

The MAB Medical Illustration Team assisted the Nicholas Restifo (NIH/NCI) laboratory in producing illustrations for their manuscript Metabolic Reprogramming of Anti-Tumor Immunity appearing in the journal Current Opinion in Immunology. In this article mechanisms of controlling T cell mediated cancer immunotherapy are explored. Specific focus is placed on how modifying the metabolism of T cell can have implications on their effectiveness. It explores how modulating the metabolism of T cells can improve T cell cancer fighting properties.
