OSHA 300A Summaries of Job-Related Injuries and Illnesses at NIH for 2012

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Labor, requires all federal agencies to create and post an annual summary of all OSHA-recordable, work-related injuries and illnesses. The goal of this requirement is to promote improved employee awareness and involvement in the recording and reporting of work-related injuries and illnesses.

The 2012 annual summary for each NIH building is now posted and can be viewed on the Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS), Office of Research Services (ORS) website: http://www.ors.od.nih.gov/sr/dohs/Pages/osha_300a_summaries.aspx

The summaries are listed by NIH worksite and then NIH building number or name to assist you in locating the information quickly and easily. The master OSHA 300A, which is inclusive of all NIH’s recordable injuries and illnesses is available for review at the Division of Occupational Health and Safety office  (Building 13/3K04).

If you have any questions or comments, please contact the DOHS at (301) 496-2960.
