​The NIH is pleased to announce the release of new workplace emergency preparedness resources.

These emergency preparedness resources offer the ability to:

• Access basic workplace emergency procedures online as well as download a PDF version that you can print and keep at your desk
• Lookup your building's emergency plan (if available), fire evacuation assembly area map, and Occupant Emergency Coordinator (OEC) (NIH login required)
• For supervisors, view a general guide for emergency preparedness and a fillable staff roster in the Additional Resources section.

Fire evacuation drills have started and more will be scheduled this fall. We encourage you to review the information for your building, such as the assembly area map, before your evacuation drill takes place.

You may also notice in the coming months another big change to the Office of Research Services (ORS) Division of Emergency Management (DEM) website. We are updating the design and continuing to add new features and important information. Please consider bookmarking this site as frequent important updates are expected.
