​We are in the heart of the holiday season with two weeks left and the crux of changes to operating hours for most of the NIH Food/Concession Program Services (cafeterias, coffee bars and concession stands). You can visit the NIH Food Services webpage for an up-to-date holiday schedule.   

Please pay careful attention to the operating hours for the next couple of weeks for your regular, favorite food facility.

• Buildings 31 & 45 cafeterias will be closed from Friday, December 22, through Tuesday, January 2
  
• Building 10 CRC Starbucks, located in the North lobby, will be the only food outlet open on Christmas Day & New Year's Day; serving hot bowls, naan pizzas & samosas, plus hot & cold beverages
  

In case you haven't heard, the Building 31 cafeteria has fully re-opened after its emergency maintenance closure, with a new Culinary Supervisor and a menu refresh. Meet Chef Robert McCutchen:

Chef Robert McCutchen, with 12 years in the food industry, specialized in Maryland seafood at the Westin Hotel. He's been with Compass Group's Eurest at NIH for nine years and was recently promoted to NIH Sous Chef. He is excited to lead Marketplace 31's culinary program, specializing in soul food. Welcome Chef Robert!
