Radioactive material and radiation-emitting devices are used in the NIH Clinical Center for biomedical research in the treatment of patients. The training module below is designed to familiarize clinical center employees with those radioactive materials and radiation-emitting devices and address specific precautions to minimize exposure to these sources of radiation.
