Structure
The Chair of the NIH Radiation Safety Committee (RSC) selects the Chairman and the members of the RDRC, which consists of five individuals. Three of the members are specific:
- nuclear medicine physician
- individual qualified by training and experience to formulate radioactive drugs
- person with special competence in radiation safety and radiation dosimetry
The remaining members should be qualified in various disciplines pertinent to the field of nuclear medicine.
