Legacy badges are issued to individuals who require physical access only to the NIH campus and/or facilities. You can get your Legacy badge at Building 10, Building 31, or the Gateway Center. To apply for a Legacy badge, you must fill out an Extended Visitor form. 

Individuals eligible for a Legacy badge include:​

• Extended Visitors 
• NIH Residents
• Special Government Employees  
• Service Providers
• Construction Workers
• Alumni/Retirees
• Transportation Visitors
• Grounds Maintenance
