Administrative Professionals

​​Administrative professionals play a significant role in today's workforce.  Administrative Professionals at the NIH are responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support by serving as principal advisors to agency organizations and Institutes. They participate in the development and implementation of management policies, planning of organizational needs, and preparation of plans, goals, objectives, or criteria for management processes.   

The administrative professional field includes many roles including but not limited to: administrative officers, grants management, program administration, accounting, technical support services, and training.  ORS provides opportunities for growth through education.
