Work-Life@NIH Virtual Support Groups Are Back With a​​ New Name and ​​a Focus f​or Supervisors


During the past two years, supervisors have been asked to expand, change and keep the “lights on” at NIH. Supervisors have been the go-between with leadership expectations, serving customers, and supporting staff during unprecedent times. Supervisors are encouraged to join the virtual Supervisor Peer Circles to network with other supervisors and learn about their challenges and tricks in navigating the “next new normal.”  
 
The Office of Research Services (ORS), with our Resource and Referral service partner, LifeWork Strategies are hosting peer circles on networking, self-care, general wellness, and coping mechanisms to sustain your well-being. Supervisor Peer Circles will occur bi-weekly on Tuesdays, at 12:00 p.m. ET, for six sessions, beginning August 23 and continuing until November 1, 2022. 

Space is limited so register today to reserve your seat. Each session will be facilitated by a mental health clinician for approximately 60 minutes. Sessions are limited to 15 participants on a first-come, first-served basis and will be hosted on Zoom. 

Please note: these sessions are not therapy support groups and are not intended to provide treatment and/or recommendations. If you need to speak to a professional, please contact the NIH Employee Assistance Program at 301-496-3164.
