VisitNIH Town Hall Event Tuesday, January 14, 2025

​​Dear Colleagues, 

In advance of the January 30, 2025 launch of VisitNIH, our new online preregistration system for campus visitors, the Office of Research Services (ORS) has organized a town hall for staff to understand the nuances of the process and get questions answered.  

The virtual town hall will be held next Tuesday, January 14 from 12PM-1PM ET. It will include a brief presentation of the VisitNIH program and the first phase of its rollout, as well as a question-and-answer session. We appreciate the questions that have been submitted and will answer as many as we can during the town hall. If we don't get to your question, we will include it in the VisitNIH FAQs continuously updated on the security.nih.gov website

 Staff can join the town hall via VideoCast here.  

ORS also expects the VisitNIH host and requestor training to be added to the LMS portal in the coming days. This 15-minute, self-paced training will be required for all NIH hosts and requestors to access VisitNIH and pre-register visitors. Expect news about this training soon.  

The town hall will be recorded and made available for later viewing. More information on VisitNIH, part of the Visitor Access Management Initiative (VAMI), and helpful resources for staff and their visitors can be found in the VAMI section of security.nih.gov.
