NIH At-Home Antigen Testing Pilot Program Online Ordering – ALL NIH STAFF NOW ELIGIBLE

Starting today, all NIH staff now have the opportunity to participate in the voluntary At-Home Antigen Testing Pilot Program (as defined below). We still have a limited supply of test kits available for online ordering on a first come, first served basis.

Who is Eligible?

  • Any NIH staff member no matter their Return to Physical Workplace Designation (RTWP), which also includes Remote Worker (RW), To Be Determined (TBD), and Not Applicable (N/A)
  • All NIH staff types (employees, contractors, trainees, tenants, etc.)

Please use the link below to place an online order for 10 tests (5 boxes) – only one order per person allowed.

How to Order

Place your online order by completing the NIH Test Kit Order Form using your home address. You will need to provide your 10-digit NIH ID number found on the back of your badge (PIV card). Orders may not be canceled since they are processed immediately and are normally delivered within 3 business days. You may only place one order.

Use of the Tests and If You Test Positive

The test kits are for work-related use only. Resale is strictly prohibited. These tests DO NOT qualify to meet testing requirements for onsite staff who are not fully vaccinated in areas with medium or high community levels. You should only take the test at home before coming to work. Follow the instructions provided with your test carefully. For guidance on what to do if you receive a positive test result, please visit the NIH COVID-19 Safety Plan

Participants can also use an optional online tool to assist with the home testing process. This tool provides interactive instructions for administering tests and interpreting the results. It also enables users to keep a history of their test results and to share those results with public health authorities.

Why You Should Participate and How to Get Help

This program is part of NIH’s continued efforts to mitigate workplace transmission of COVID-19, serving as a supplement to the onsite Asymptomatic Testing Services. It is working to keep our workplace safe as hundreds of staff have tested positive using the at-home Antigen Test kits prior to coming into their workplace.

If you have any questions about the testing process or test results, contact the Occupational Medical Services Call Center at 301-480-8990 (Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET) or email OMSMonitoringProgram@mail.nih.gov.
