Humanizing the Badge

The Office of Research Services expresses our sincerest thanks and gratitude for the services provided by our exemplary team of NIH First Responders.  Operating within the realms of our fire department, medical response team, and police department our first responders work to ensure that the thousands of people who frequent our campus are safe.  They are first on scene in dangerous and difficult situations, ones who put their own personal safety at risk for the many. At NIH, this is no different as our brave firefighters, police officers, and medical personnel continue to work across the nation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
