Celebrate National CPR Awareness Week on August 26, 29 and 30
The Office of Research Services (ORS), Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS), would like to invite the NIH community to join us in celebrating National Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Week on Friday, August 26, Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30.
Come out and meet the DOHS training team who supply the CPR and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) training to NIH. There will also be "Hands Only" CPR demonstrations along with an overview of how to use the AEDs in NIH facilities.
To attend this special event, DOHS is providing two locations (on campus and off campus).
On-campus: Building 45 (Natcher Building) Balcony C on August 29 and 30 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Off-campus: Building 6701 Rockledge II, 9th floor, conference rooms 9100/9104 on August 26 and 29 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
CPR "Hands Only" AED demonstrations will be conducted in 30 minute sessions with a maximum of 40 people per session. There will be no certification or CEUs awarded for the demonstration.
