Beginning on December 11, 2023 and continuing through September 30, 2024, the 1143-space MLP-10 Parking Garage on North Drive (behind Buildings 31 and 33) will undergo major renovations to address structural and plumbing repairs and waterproofing to the garage.
These urgent repairs will commence in a phased approach to minimize the impact to employees, starting with the top levels (5th and 6th floors). The garage itself will not close. No more than 241 spaces will be unavailable at any one time and most often, approximately 150 spaces will be impacted at any one time. Even with the temporary removal of parking spaces, there should still be ample parking available in the garage.
To review when your section of the garage will be renovated, look at the phasing plan chart below:
Inside of MLP-10, construction areas will be clearly marked. Signage will assist vehicles navigating around work zones during the beginning of each phase. Alternate handicap and reserved parking spaces will be provided within MLP-10 once existing spaces come under repair.
The Office of Research Facilities and the Office of Research Services appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these repairs to the MLP-10 garage.
