The Office of Research Services (ORS) has coordinated a Spring Cleaning for the Bethesda campus and we need your help!
Purpose
The Bethesda campus is in need of a good cleaning and some repair. It's been 10 years since the last NIH effort and it's long overdue! In shared or common areas not assigned to a specific ICO, certain types of issues can go ignored, unreported, and unresolved.
We are asking the NIH community to focus on the following:
Timeline
The 2024 NIH Spring Cleaning is currently underway and will continue through September.
What's Not Included
- Laboratories or animal-held spaces
- Leased facilities and childcare centers
- Buildings scheduled for major renovation or decommissioning
- Temporary structures (such as trailers) and facilities considered sensitive or high-containment
This is not an opportunity for employees to move unwanted equipment and office/laboratory supplies outside or into hallways! All items must to be tagged for pickup.
