The 2025 holiday season is here!

Since many in our community will be out on holiday leave, things on campus may feel a little quieter. With fewer people on-site, most NIH Food/Concession Program Services—including cafeterias, coffee bars, and concession stands—will have adjusted hours for the season.

You can check the updated schedules on the NIH Food Services webpage, where you'll find direct links to the Thanksgiving and December holiday hours.

Some locations will begin modified hours starting today, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, so be sure to look up the hours for your regular or favorite food spot before heading over.

  • Building 10 CRC Starbucks (North Lobby atrium) will be the only food outlet open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. It will offer hot bowls, naan pizzas, samosas and a variety of hot and cold drinks.
  • Right next to Starbucks, you'll also find two fresh-food vending machines stocked with salads, sandwiches and microwaveable meals—available 24/7.
