​Spring is coming and that means warmer weather and food trucks returning to the NIH. Beginning Tuesday, March 5,2024, the NIH community will have a variety of rotating food trucks on the Bethesda Main Campus. Weather permitting, food trucks will operate in the 10H parking lot initially on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., or until the food runs out. In May, truck presence will expand to include Mondays and Fridays. Continued operation of the food trucks will depend on demand by the NIH community.

A full list of food trucks and menus can be found on the NIH Recreation & Welfare (R&W) website. A weather check will be conducted by 6:00 p.m. the preceding day to determine if there will be poor weather conditions. The trucks will not operate if the weather is forecasted to exceed 95 degrees, or the chance of precipitation is greater than 70 percent. 

The NIH Community Market will remain in the Building 10 South Lobby from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays until April before moving outdoors to the south lawn of Building 10. Please visit the various market vendors selling produce, baked goods, honey, crafts, jewelry and more.
