The NIH is proud to present another installment in the
"Fitness for You" Free Fitness Class program. For the month of July,
the Recreation and Welfare Association (R&W) Fitness and Wellness Program
will be offering a wide range of free fitness classes at various on-campus and
off-campus locations. All classes are free and open to all NIH staff. However,
please obtain your supervisor’s approval if interested in attending. 1. Building 10 South Lobby - in conjunction with the NIH
Community Market and the Summer Food Truck Program. Zumba with Valerie.Tuesday, July 14 – 12:00pm - 12:45pm (Building 10 South,
Front Lawn).Zumba is a Latin music based dance and fitness class - at
a pace where both the novice and most experienced dance enthusiasts can enjoy. Cuban Rumba with Chip.Tuesday, July 21 - 12:00pm - 12:45pm.In Cuba, Rumba is a generic term covering a variety of
musical rhythms and associated dances. Belly Dancing with Rachel.Tuesday, July 28 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm.Belly dancing is based on one of the oldest social dances
in world history, originating in North Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Belly
dancing is both a beautiful form of dance and a great way to exercise. 2. The Loft T-39. Spinning 101 with Yvonne.Wednesday, July 15 - 5:30pm - 6:30pm.Spinning is a great way to maintain or improve your overall
health and well-being as well as improve your outdoor cycling skills. Weightlifting Fundamentals with Mike.Thursdays - 4:00pm - 5:00pm.If you are interested, please RSVP (at least one day in

5070. Cardio Kickboxing with Robin.Thursday, July 16 - 1:15pm - 2:15pm.Cardio Kickboxing is a fun and energizing workout. The
class incorporates boxing moves such as kicks, jabs, uppercuts, and hooks to
improve agility and power while burning calories. All levels welcome! The "Fitness for You" program is sponsored by
the Office of Research Services (ORS), Division of Amenities and Transportation
Services (DATS) and the R&W Fitness Program. For additional information or
