Celebrate National CPR Awareness on June 19 and June 21

The Office of Research Services (ORS), Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS), would like to invite the NIH to join us in celebrating National CPR Awareness on Tuesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 21.

Come out and meet the DOHS training team who supply the Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) training to NIH. There will also be "Hands Only" CPR demonstrations on adults and children along with an overview of how to use the AEDs in NIH facilities provided for the NIH workforce.

To attend this special event, DOHS is providing two locations, one on campus and one off campus.

On-campus: Building 45 (Natcher Building) Balcony B on June 19 from 12:30pm – 3:00pm and June 21 from 8:30am – 12:00pm

Off-campus: Building 6701 (Rockledge II) on June 19 in Conference Room 9112/9116 from 08:00am – 11:00am Building 6130 (Executive Plaza North) on June 21 in Conference Room C first floor from 1:00pm – 3:30pm

CPR Hands Only AED demonstrations will be conducted in 30 minute sessions with a maximum of 40 people per session. There will be no certification or CEUs awarded for the Hands Only CPR demonstration.
