NIH staff are invited to celebrate National CPR Awareness
on Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4.
Come out and meet the Office of Research Services,
Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) training team who provide
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillators
(AEDs) training to NIH. There will also be "Hands Only" CPR
demonstrations on adults and children along with an overview of how to use the
AEDs in NIH facilities provided for the NIH workforce.
To attend this special event, DOHS has reserved two
locations, one on the main Bethesda campus and one off-campus.
On-campus:
Monday, June 3 - Building 13, Room 3W54 - 10:00am –
2:00pm Tuesday, June 4 - Building 45, Balcony B - 10:00am – 2:00pm
Off-campus:
Monday, June 3 and Tuesday, June 4 - Building 6701
Rockledge II, Conference Room 910 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
CPR "Hands Only" AED demonstrations will be
conducted in 15 minute sessions with a maximum of 40 people per session. There
will be no certification or CEUs awarded for the Hands Only CPR demonstration.
