2014 Feds Feed Families at NIH Kick-Off

The Office of Research Services would like to announce the official NIH Kick-Off of the Feds Fed Families Program. We will be hosting several "Fill the Truck" days throughout the summer. Feel free to drive, bike or walk up to drop of any donations or ask any questions.

This campaign will last through the end of August and the "Fill the Truck" donation days will once again make giving that much easier. Volunteers will be outside of Building 1 holding signs and accepting any non-perishable donations (no cash please) in hopes to get a head start on surpassing our NIH donation totals from last year – over 15,000 pounds of non-perishable food items!

Again, as Dr. Collins mentioned in previous years, a portion of your donations will be distributed to the Edmond J. Safra Family Lodge and the NIH Children’s Inn prior to being sent to the Capital Area Food Bank.

Simply walk, drive, or bike up to the donation truck and volunteers will assist with unloading your items. Donations will be collected on the following dates and locations:

July Dates: Wednesdays and Thursdays

16-17 and 23-24.

8:00AM to 11:00AM.

Building 10 South (Parking Lot 10H).

August Dates: Wednesdays and Thursdays

13-14 and 20-21.

8:00AM to 11:00AM.

In front of Building 1.
