The NIH will host the 19th annual "Take Your Child
to Work Day" (TYCTWD) on Thursday, April 24 from 9am to 4pm.
You are invited to bring your school-aged children –
grades 1-12 to the NIH campus, and engage them in a day of healthy discovery.
Introduce your child to all that NIH has to offer – the many careers in science
as well as all the careers that support them.
This is your opportunity to showcase what you do, as well
as the shared mission of the nation’s medical research agency — supporting
scientific studies that turn discovery into health.
Explore with your child diverse fields of science and
research.
Introduce your child to work-life in a federal agency.
Children in grades 6-12 will be able to register to
volunteer to help with activities and earn community service credit.
Encourage your co-workers, your supervisors, and your
colleagues/friends in other Divisions/ICs to participate. Registration and
complete information will be available in early April.
The Office of Research Services, Division of Amenities
and Transportation Services is the primary sponsor of TYCTWD 2014.
